Psychotherapy

Sometimes we need a helping hand to help ourselves get a better well-being and life balance.

When we get stressed, depressed or are struggling in our relationships we sometimes need a helping hand to learn new strategies to become more constructive. Together we look at your patterns and strategies that prevent you from being present  your best version of you.

Often our well-being is related to our inner dialogues and how we treat ourselves. Psychotherapy is designed to give people new strategies as well as deal with emotional challenges and relationships in a healthy and constructive way. Psychotherapy helps you find new and more constructive ways.

Some of the reason my customers and people in general seeks help to solve are…

  • Stress and burn out
  • Anxiety
  • Overthinking
  • Agresive behaviour
  • Difficult relationships
  • Improve communication and conflict solving
  • Trauma

SLOTSAGER has a dynamic approach and is specialised in ISTDP and EFT.

Intensive Dynamic Short-Term Therapy (ISTDP) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) are both validated methods within psychotherapy and help us navigate emotionally.

Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) is a unique form of psychodynamic treatment that facilitates the rapid resolution of a broad spectrum of emotional difficulties. It is an evidence-based psychotherapy that is strongly supported by current clinical research studies. ISTDP interventions are specifically designed to resolve anxiety, depression, somatization and personality disorders, as well as alleviate a variety of self-defeating behaviors, many of which derive from unstable or troubled early life attachments.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a well-known humanistic approach to psychotherapy formulated in the 1980’s and developed in tandem with the science of adult attachment, a profound developmental theory of personality and intimate relationships. This science has expanded our understanding of individual dysfunction and health as well as the nature of love relationships and family bonds. Attachment views human beings as innately relational, social and wired for intimate bonding with others. The EFT model prioritizes emotion and emotional regulation as the key organizing agents in individual experience and key relationship interactions.
